Meetings of the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of New Jersey

Pursuant to adjournment, the annual meeting of July 4th, 1895, was continued this day at the Laurel-in-the-Pines.

The Standing Committee would respectfully recommend:

First: That Frederick Wolcott Jackson be elected as member of the Standing Committee in place of Luther Foster Halsey, deceased.

Second: That Luther Murphy Halsey be selected an Hereditary member in place of his late father, Luther Foster Halsey. Recommendations adopted.

A recess being taken to afford the members and guests an opportunity to partake of the dinner, after which the President dismissed the Society with the prayer, “That on the Fourth wherever we may be, may God be with us all.”
