Great grandnephew of propositus Edmund Disney Thomas. Assistant Secretary of the Society of the Cincinnati in New Jersey 1922-1923, Secretary 1923-1924 and Treasurer 1932-1935. Born in Elizabeth, NJ on 5 Oct 1876 and died in Elizabeth, NJ on 30 Apr 1935. During the Spanish American War in 1898, joined the Essex Troop of the NJ Militia, which was not called into the national service. In World War I in 1917 was Lieutenant and Quartermaster of the Homeguard of Elizabeth, NJ. Senior partner and founder of Daws, Thomas and Company, a New York Stock Exchange trading company. Member of the Society of Colonial Wars. Member of the New Jersey Historical Society. Married Bernardine Russell Edson on 30 Jan 1904. Mr. Thomas was the great grandnephew of Edmund Thomas.
