Great grandson of propositus Richard Howell. Chaplain of the Society of the Cincinnati in New Jersey 1901-1910. Born in Wheeling, WV on 31 Mar 1859 and died in New York, NY on 1 Feb 1901. Graduate of the University of Virginia 1879. Graduate of the Theological Seminary of Philadelphia 1882. First Rector of Saint Margarets Episcopal Church, Washington, DC 1895-1899. The richest Episcopal Rector in America. Member of the Veteran Corps of Artillery in the State of New York and the Military Society of the War of 1812.
