Princeton graduate 1818, MA Degree 1821, and DD Degree from Hobart College 1839. Minister of the 2nd Presbyterian Church of Newark,NJ 1822-1833, then the 1st Presbyterian Church of Geneva, NY 1833-1846. Moderator of the General Assembly of the Northern Presbyterian Church in 1849. Teacher in a select boy’s school. Married Elizabeth Condit on 14 Feb 1826.
