Great grandson of propositus Daniel Baldwin. Born in San Francisco, CA on 4 Jan 1861 and died in Colorado Springs, CO on 27 Oct 1934. Attended Harrow College in England. Harvard College AB Degree 1882. Am Degree. Owner of grape vineyards in Westside, California. Collector of rare books, including pages from the original Gutenberg Bible. Built a noted estate, ‘Claremont’ in Colorado Springs, CO. Enthusiastic polo player. Member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Alpha Delta Phi. Married Virginia Hobart Scott in 1896.
