Captain Thomas Reading

Began his service in the Revolutionary War as Captain in the 3rd Regiment New Jersey Line 2 Apr to 22 Nov 1776. Served in the Northern New York and in Canada. Born in Amwell, NJ 27 Sep 1754 and died in Amwell, NJ on 15 Dec 1814. Justice of the Peace for Hunterdon County, NJ 1783. For many years was Judge of the Court of Common Pleas.
