Son of propositus James Francis Armstrong. Assistant Treasurer of the Society of the Cincinnati in New Jersey 1826-1829 and Treasurer 1829-1833. Born in Princeton, NJ on 6 Dec 1784 and died in Trenton, NJ on 22 Sep 1838. Served as Captain in Lt. Colonel Howells Regiment, New Jersey Militia in the War of 1812. Mr. Armstrong was the son of James Francis Armstrong.
