Son of propositus James Francis Armstrong. Assistant Treasurer of the Society of the Cincinnati in New Jersey 1826-1829 and Treasurer 1829-1833. Born in Princeton, NJ on 6 Dec 1784 and died in Trenton, NJ on 22 Sep 1838. Served as Captain in Lt. Colonel Howells Regiment, New Jersey Militia in the War of 1812.
