Retained in and last served in Cumming’s New Jersey Continental Battalion from Apr 1783. Served to the close of war. Brevet Captain. Born in Fairton, Cumberland County, NJ on 1 May 1758 (or 1753) and died in Millville, NJ on 15 May 1802 or 1803. Colonel in the New Jersey Militia. Sheriff of Cumberland County, NJ 1787-1790.
