Grandson of propositus Thomas Ryerson. Born in Chicago, IL on 12 Jan 1851 and died at the sinking of the ‘Titanic’ on 15 Apr 1912. Attorney and member of the Bar 1900. He was able to save his family by getting his wife, two daughters and 13 year old son into lifeboat #4. He returned to the state room and continued playing cards while the ship sank.
