Theodore Wilson Morris

Great grandson of propositus Ephraim Lockhart Whitlock and nephew of member Thomas Whitlock. Born in New York, NY on 15 Jan 1842 and died in Freehold, NJ on 27 Oct 1926. Served in the Civil War as Adjutant of the 37th NY Regiment at the Battle of Gettysburg. After the war entered the firm of Daniel S. Schanck & Sons. Senior Partner of Theodore W. Morris & Company. President and Trustee of the Monmouth Battle Monument Commission. Vice-President of the Sons of the American Revolution in New Jersey. [Not listed in Metcalf as belonging to the Society of the Cincinnati in any State. Clearly identified in the 1887 Triennial photo with his fellow members of the New Jersey Society and wearing the Society Eagle, denoting his membership.] Married Fransanchy Schanck.
