Began his service in the Revolutionary War as Ensign in the 4th Regiment NJ Line 2 Nov 1776. 1st Lieutenant 17 Feb 1777. Captain-Lieutenant 2 Dec 1777. Captain 7 Apr 1779. Transferred to the 3rd Regiment NJ Line 1 Jul 1778. Resigned from service on 30 Mar 1780. Date and place of birth and death unknown.
