First Lieutenant Robert Buchanan
Began his service in the Revolutionary War as 2nd Lieutenant in the 5th Regiment SC Line. 1st Lieutenant 23 Jan 1778. Captured at Charleston, SC on 12 May 1780 and died as a prisoner. [Sources: M; H.]
