Colombia Law School graduate. Assistant Secretary, then Vice-President of Newark Electric Light and Power Company 1882-1896. Merged with Peoples Light and Power Company, of which he was President until 1903. Trustee of the New Jersey Historical Society. A manager of the American Bible Society. A Director of Firemans Insurance Company. A Director of the United Railroad Company. Real estate broker and one of the largest real estate holders in Newark, NJ. Married Margaret Atlee on 5 Nov 1884.
