Captain Jotham Horton

Began his service in the Revolutionary War as 1st Lieutenant of Griddey’s Regiment, Massachusetts Artillery, 30 Apr to Nov 1775; Captain-Lieutenant of Knox Regiment, Continental Artillery, 1 Jan 1776. Taken prisoner at the Battle of Fort Washington 16 Nov 1776. Broke his parole. Captain of the 3rd Continental Artillery 1 Jan 1777 until he resigned 12 Sep 1778. Reported a supernumerary.
