Ensign in the 1st Regiment NY Line 26 Feb to Dec 1776. 2nd Lieutenant in Spencer’s Additional Continental Regiment Feb 1777. 1st Lieutenant 1 Jan 1778. Regimental Adjutant 1 Sep 1778. Captain 24 Apr 1779. At the close of the war, was in command of the Fort near Brick House in Montague, NJ. Retired from service 1 Jan 1781.
