Colonel Jacob Ford

Served in the Morris County, NJ Militia for most of 1776. Served as Colonel in the 4th Regiment NJ Line during the Revolutionary War. Died in service of pneumonia on 10 Jan 1777. Buried in the Presbyterian Churchyard with full military honors at the direction of General Washington. Born in Morristown, NJ on 10 or 19 Feb 1738. Married Theodosia Johnes on 27 Jan 1762.
