Began his service in the Revolutionary War as Surgeon’s Mate in the 3rd Regiment New Jersey Line 20 Feb 1777. Retired from service 1 Jan 1781. Was a medical practitioner in New Providence after the war. Married Sally Elmer. Date and place of birth and death unknown. [Sources: M; H.]
