Began his service in the Revolutionary War as Physician and Surgeon in the Hospital Department in the Continental Army. Died 10 May 1780. Place of death unknown. Born in Scotland in 1713. University of Edinburgh graduate. Studied medicine under Doctor De Normandie. Practiced in Burlington and Mount Holly. Married Elizabeth Beckett. Married Elizabeth DeNormandie.
