Began his service in the Revolutionary War as Sergeant in the 3rd Regiment NJ Line in 1775. Sergeant Major 11 Feb 1777. Ensign 1 May 1777. 2nd Lieutenant 11 Nov 1777. Regimental Quartermaster Sep 1778. 1st Lieutenant 4 Mar 1780. Resigned from service 8 Nov 1782. Date and place of birth and death unknown.
