Surgeon Ebenezer Stockton

Transferred to the New Hampshire Society 4 Jul 1789. Began his service in the Revolutionary War as Surgeon’s mate in the General Hospital of the Continental Army 20 Sep 1777. Surgeon in the 2nd Regiment NH Line 10 Jul 1782. Surgeon in the General Hospital. Retained in the New Hampshire Battalion 21 Mar 1783 on the recommendation of Doctor Benjamin Rush. Served to 3 Nov 1783. Born in Princeton, NJ in 1759 and died in Princeton, NJ on 9 Dec 1837. Princeton graduate 1780 and MA Degree 1783. Had a medical practice after the war in Princeton, NJ.
