Captain Andrew Fitch

Original Member of the Connecticut Society and Represented Propositus of the New Jersey Society. Began his service in the Revolutionary War as a Private in a Company of Minute Men at Lexington and Concord 19 Apr 1775. 2nd Lieutenant in the 3rd Regiment CT Line 1 May to 19 Dec 1775 and 1st Lieutenant in Ward’s CT State Regiment14 May 1776. Captain in the 4th Regiment CT Line 1 Jan 1777. Retired from service on 1 Jan 1781. Born in Norwich, MA on 21 Mar 1747 and died in Lebanon, CT on 28 Aug 1811.
